Susan: A Jane Austen Prequel

About Susan: A Jane Austen Prequel:

Susan is a Jane Austen Prequel (or Pride and Prejudice Variation) brilliantly capturing Austen’s own Lady Susan as a young girl.

As the BookLife review put it for Publishers Weekly: “McVeigh’s prose and plotting are pitch-perfect. Emma mingles with Pride and Prejudice in a delightful confrontation between the two books’ worlds… This Austen-inspired novel echoes the master herself.”

Familiar characters abound – Frank Churchill, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, Darcy himself – but Susan – mischievous and manipulative – is the star. This is Austen that even Austen might have loved, with a touch of Georgette Heyer in the romantic sections. Fans of Bridgerton will also relish this classic regency romance, the first in a six-book series.

Sixteen-year-old Susan Smithson – pretty but poor, clever but capricious – has just been expelled from a school for young ladies in London.

At the mansion of the formidable Lady Catherine de Bourgh, she attracts a raffish young nobleman. But, at the first hint of scandal, her guardian dispatches her to her uncle Collins’ rectory in Kent, where her sensible cousin Alicia lives and “where nothing ever happens.”

Here Susan mischievously inspires the local squire to put on a play, with consequences no one could possibly have foreseen. What with the unexpected arrival of Frank Churchill, Alicia’s falling in love and a tumultuous elopement, rural Kent will surely never seem safe again…

Encounters with the Celestials, The Living Part of a Timeless Legend: From the Himalayan Journals of M.G. Hawking

About Encounters with the Celestials, The Living Part of a Timeless Legend: From the Himalayan Journals of M.G. Hawking:

Free on Amazon September 14th and 15th. Explore the Secret Realities of a Compelling Ancient Legend. The creation stories and wisdom traditions of civilizations worldwide relate that their progenitors came from the stars, the sky, or the heavens.
Native Americans recount that their antecedents were the “Sky People” and “Star Beings.” The builders of Teotihuacan describe their gods as having descended from the heavens. Egyptian texts speak of their “bringers of knowledge” coming from Sahu and Sopdit (Orion and Sirius) in a “cosmic egg radiating colored light.” The pre-Tibetan Zhang Zhung, the Maya, the pre-Incans, the Sumerians, and so many others, all express essentially the same account in diverse symbolic languages—their ancestors came from the stars, bringing advanced knowledge and the gift of civilization. These cultures were greatly separated both geographically and chronologically, yet their creation stories are strikingly similar. What could explain this?
Throughout Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and the Himalayan regions of India, there has endured an extraordinary legend of the Ri-iha-mo, the celestials or “mountain goddesses” who, having arrived from “another world” in antediluvian times, still dwell in a concealed inner region of the immense frozen fortress of the Great Himalayan Range.
Transcribed directly from the archived field notes and journals of explorer M.G. Hawking’s sixty-two months in the Himalayan regions of Nepal, this book contains detailed descriptions of three encounters Hawking and his companions experienced with what they believe were these fabled mountain goddesses, providing unprecedented accounts of the remarkable knowledge they revealed.
During Hawking’s encounters with the Ri-iha-mo, they disclosed profound revelations about our Universe, our planet, and our true nature, revelations that can greatly assist in understanding ourselves, our world, and our role and power in creating precisely the life we desire.
From the Author: “The knowledge expressed in this book is an intensely profound thing that one hopes will have relevance to others, will offer them insight and guidance, will greatly increase their personal knowledge and power, will be validated by their experience, or, at the very least, will stimulate them to search further on their own. The viewpoints expressed by the Ri-iha-mo reveal not only highly advanced knowledge, but also the search of an extraterrestrial culture at a particular stage of its evolution. In this it reflects a widely emerging pattern in our own culture as well, that of a search for direction in the Universe—a reawakening of a seeking begun by the original pre-Socratic philosophers, one that goes further back than even the roots of religion—the search for a connection with our origins and power in the Cosmos that gave rise to us and within which we continue the creation our individual lives. As the knowledge and insights expressed by the Ri-iha-mo arise from a culture and civilization several million years in advance of our own, it deserves our most careful consideration.”
An unprecedented account that is thought provoking and richly enlightening, this book will remain in your heart and mind long after the last words have been read. 2022 Edition, e-reader page count 348. Includes chapters on ‘Visualization Practice’, ‘The Great Mysteries of Ancient Egypt’, ‘Evolving an Understanding of the Living Universe’, ‘Moving Toward a New World View’, and ‘Critiques and Additional Thoughts’. Origin of the Cosmos, Secrets of the Ancient World by M.G. Hawking and Jenna Wolfe Ph.D.

About Origin of the Cosmos, Secrets of the Ancient World by M.G. Hawking and Jenna Wolfe Ph.D.:

Free on Amazon August 1st thru August 3rd. New Edition. Explore the mysterious origin of the Universe, the evidence of advanced civilizations of tremendous antiquity, and the possible lineage of their builders.
The Kepler Space Observatory has revealed that there are more than ten trillion galaxies in the observable universe. To put this in perspective, if you hold a single grain of sand at arm’s length against the night sky, the tiny patch of sky it hides contains more than 100,000 galaxies—not 100,000 stars, 100,000 galaxies.
It is impossible not to wonder where this incomprehensibly enormous universe came from. The consensus among cosmologists and physicists is that the universe as we know it originated from infinite conditions within a singularity that not only created the universe, it created space and time, all the matter that surrounds us, and the physical laws that govern our entire cosmos.
“Is the essence of infinity the uncountable, the immeasurable? Or is infinity the ultimate, complete, perfect entity?” —Enrico Bombieri, Ph.D., von Neumann Professor Emeritus
“Space, time, and matter are not eternal, their first emergence into being is a miracle beside which all others dwindle into absolute insignificance.” —William Knight
NASA’s Kepler Space Observatory has identified the existence of 4496 exoplanet candidates and 3750 confirmed exoplanets, that is, planets existing outside of our solar system. “Now we know that we’re just one of billions of small worlds that are very much like ours,” explains NASA’s Dr. William Kinney. “If you extrapolate that to our galaxy as a whole, which has more than 200 billion stars in it, the calculation based on the Kepler data is that there are around 40 billion planets like earth.”
“We might expect intelligent life and technological communities to have emerged in the universe billions of years ago. Given that human society is only a few thousand years old, and that human technological society is mere centuries old, the nature of a community with millions or even billions of years of technological and social progress cannot even be imagined.” —Paul Davies, Ph.D.

Forbidden Secrets of Egypt, The Lost Knowledge by M.G. Hawking, Jenna Wolfe Ph.D., and Amber Chellings

About Forbidden Secrets of Egypt, The Lost Knowledge by M.G. Hawking, Jenna Wolfe Ph.D., and Amber Chellings:

Free on Amazon April 30th thru May 4th. Explore the Lost Knowledge of the Antediluvian Civilization of Ancient Egypt. Thousands of years ago a small Neolithic community in the region of the lower Nile abruptly rose to create the most majestic and enduring civilization of history. The rise of Ancient Egypt to a stunningly advanced state of culture lasting thousands of years demonstrates advancements that have long eluded explanation.
“Ancient Egypt presents us with an impenetrable mystery. How may we explain a Neolithic desert people spawning the most majestic civilization of history? Their rapid ascension from a primitive state to a previously unapproached zenith of technology and culture demonstrates advancements that utterly elude explanation. Many of their artistic and architectural productions are unequalled to this day. What could possibly explain vast technical knowledge and sophistication appearing so fully-formed so suddenly?” —Legendary Egyptologist Flinders Petrie, Archaeological Journal (1911)
What long lost knowledge underlies the unprecedented technology, artistic creations, and cultural sophistication of Ancient Egypt? The voluminous lore of ancient Egyptian tradition relates that in the antediluvian time of zp tpj (generally transcribed as Zep Tepi), the “first occasion” or “first time,” mysterious, highly enlightened “gods” appeared in Egypt, bearing previously unknown technology and knowledge. The texts inscribed on the walls of the Temple of Edfu in Upper Egypt contain explicit descriptions of the time of Zep Tepi and the coming of the “bringers of knowledge,” said to have occurred, the texts tell us, circa 18,000 B.C.
In the Sahara Desert of southern Egypt is an area known as Nabta Playa. Here an ancient stone calendar circle, along with 25 other megalithic structures, was identified by archaeologist Fred Wendorf in 1998. According to an extensive analysis by NASA astrophysicist Thomas Brophy and his team, three stones inside the Nabta calendar circle represent the belt of Orion, just as the three pyramids of Giza align to represent that same constellation. The stones of the Nabta Playa’s stone calendar circle and the corresponding stars in the sky aligned on summer solstice nights as they appeared circa 16,500 B.C. Based on these and other analyses, Brophy’s team concluded that the ancient builders of Nabta Playa possessed highly sophisticated astronomical knowledge, the type of knowledge we associate with advanced civilization.
Plato (c. 428-348 B.C.) writes of Egyptian masters presenting him with historical records extending back some 18,000 years: “Egypt has recorded and kept eternally the wisdom of the ancient ages, all coming from time immemorial when gods governed the earth in the dawn of civilization.” Herodotus tells us that when Hecataeus of Miletus (550-476 BC) boasted to the Egyptian priests that he could trace his ancestry through fifteen centuries, they quietly showed him, in a hidden sanctuary deep under the sands, the statutes of 345 high priests, each the son of the preceding, making 345 generations since their “gods” had appeared in the Nile valley and marking a timeline extending back one-hundred-eighty centuries.
This ancient evidence reveals that a sophisticated Egyptian civilization existed long prior to the last glacial period, and most importantly prior to the ‘Younger Dryas Boundary’ cataclysmic event as well. The ‘YDB’ event, which occurred circa 10,770 B.C., is thought to have been caused by the impacts or air-bursts of several comets, resulting in massive shockwaves and firestorms sweeping across continents, initiating a 1200 year-long epoch of terminal environmental change and catastrophic faunal extinction, effectively wiping all but traces of early civilizations from the historical record.
This book reveals and fully explores the forbidden secrets and profound lost knowledge of a magnificent civilization, long concealed in myth and legend. An important read for anyone seeking greater personal knowledge and power. 2021 Edition, e-reader page count 302 (estimated, actual count varies with the reading device used). Contact, Three True Encounters: Transcribed from the Himalayan Field Notes of Explorer M.G. Hawking

About Contact, Three True Encounters: Transcribed from the Himalayan Field Notes of Explorer M.G. Hawking:

Free on Amazon April 16th and 17th. While in a remote region of the Himalayas, explorer M.G. Hawking and his companions experience three encounters with individuals they believe to be the true “celestials” of ancient legends. Explore these extraordinary encounters and the profound knowledge they reveal.
The encounters revealed in this book, insofar as extensive research indicates, have no counterpart in available world literature. The underlying concepts are present in a few profound literatures, but no detailed description of a true encounter with the Ri-iha-mo, the legendary Himalayan celestial goddesses, or “mountain goddesses,” as the Tibetan term translates. Such accounts may exist, but have apparently remained sealed.
Who—or what—are the Ri-iha-mo? Throughout Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and the Himalayan regions of India, there has endured an extraordinary ancient legend of “celestial” beings, the Ri-iha-mo, who, having arrived in an antediluvian era of prehistory, still dwell in a concealed inner region of the vast frozen fortress of the Himalayas. The earliest known reference to the celestials appears in extant fragments of the scriptures of the 4000 year-old pre-Tibetan Zhang Zhung culture of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, yet those texts refer in turn to writings several thousand years older than themselves, and additional references can be found in a number of ancient writings, and in the wisdom traditions of cultures throughout Asia.
The creation stories of cultures worldwide relate that their progenitors came from the sky, the stars, or the heavens. Ancient Egyptian texts speak of their “bringers of knowledge” coming from Orion and Sirius. Native Americans recount that their antecedents were the “Sky People” or “Star People.” Throughout South America there exists a richly analogous storehouse of legends describing the arrival of “Star Beings.”
The builders of Teotihuacan describe their gods as having descended from the heavens. The pre-Tibetan culture, the Mayan, the pre-Incan, the Sumerian, and so many others, all express the same story in diverse symbolic languages—their “gods” came from the stars, bringing advanced knowledge and the gift of civilization. Many of these cultures were greatly separated both geographically and chronologically, yet their creation stories are strikingly similar and, in some cases, essentially identical.
The B’on theogony of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau’s ancient Zhang Zhung culture relates that their “king of the gods” arrived from the emptiness of space in a “resplendent jeweled egg” of “lha of bright light,” at which time “in the sky there appeared dazzling lights, melodious sounds in space, and many other wonderful occurrences.”
Are these ubiquitous traditions merely myths? Are they simply embellished legends passed down through generations beyond count? Or are they representative of some vaguely remembered and carefully preserved reality? Absent an ember, there can be no smoke; there is a kernel of truth in all such enduring creation stories and, especially in light of today’s astronomical knowledge, they cannot be easily, or wisely, dismissed.
Transcribed from the field notes of Hawking’s sixty-two months in the Himalayas, this book contains detailed narratives of the experiences he and his companions had with the actual Ri-iha-mo, revealing profound revelations about our Universe, our history, and our true nature, knowledge that can greatly assist in understanding ourselves, our world, and our role and power in creating precisely the life we desire. 2020 Edition, e-reader page count 300 (actual count varies with the reading device). Harriet: A Jane Austen Variation by Spaulding Taylor

Harriet: A Jane Austen Variation by Spaulding Taylor

NEW RELEASE DISCOUNTED FOR A SHORT TIME TO .99!!!

HARRIET is an intriguing and original “take” on Jane Austen’s immortal EMMA, by Publishers Weekly’s 2021 BookLife Prize quarterfinalist, Alice McVeigh.

Emma, a privileged young heiress, decides to mentor Harriet Smith, a pretty boarding-school pupil, and to matchmake her as eligibly as she can… But how is she to guess that Harriet has a secret?

Meanwhile, the brilliant, penniless Jane Fairfax consents to a clandestine engagement with Frank Churchill – though not daring to confess, even to him, that she is being relentlessly pursued by her best friend’s husband.

HARRIET sidelines Emma herself in favour of the ingenious Harriet and the fascinating Jane Fairfax. It is EMMA – but an EMMA with a surprisingly believable twist in its tail.

“A dynamic take on a revered classic. This is still Austen’s EMMA—but the story that unfolds through the recollections of these two “side” characters feels remarkably fresh… With or without an understanding of EMMA, HARRIET contains a fully-formed narrative that should satisfy even the choosiest Austen fans… Readers will rarely find the words ‘page-turner’ and ‘Jane Austen’ in the same sentence, but McVeigh’s impeccably written HARRIET certainly fits the bill.” (IndieReader)

Encounters with the Celestials, The Living Part of a Timeless Legend: From the Himalayan Journals of M.G. Hawking

About Encounters with the Celestials, The Living Part of a Timeless Legend: From the Himalayan Journals of M.G. Hawking:

Free on Amazon January 26th and 27th.
A Kindle Unlimited Book, e-reader page count 348. Includes chapters on ‘Visualization Practice’, ‘The Great Mysteries of Ancient Egypt’, ‘Evolving an Understanding of the Living Universe’, ‘Moving Toward a New World View’, and ‘Critiques and Additional Thoughts’.

Free on Amazon January 5th and 6th.
Contact, Three True Encounters: Transcribed from the Himalayan Field Notes of Explorer M.G. Hawking

About Contact, Three True Encounters: Transcribed from the Himalayan Field Notes of Explorer M.G. Hawking:

Free on Amazon December 22nd thru December 24th.
Ri-iha-mo, Celestial Mountain Goddess: True Encounters with a Legend of the Himalayas by M.G. Hawking

About Ri-iha-mo, Celestial Mountain Goddess: True Encounters with a Legend of the Himalayas by M.G. Hawking:

Free on Amazon December 15th thru December 18th. Journey into the reality of an ancient legend through this unprecedented first-hand account to explore knowledge that for long millenniums has remained concealed under layers of myth, legend, and secrecy. 5-star reviews: “A beautifully written account … a most highly recommended book.” “Thought provoking and beautiful.” “Insightful … reveals worlds we have long forgotten.”
Throughout Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and the mountain regions of India, there has endured an extraordinary ancient legend of “mountain goddesses” or “celestials” who, having arrived in antediluvian times, still dwell in a concealed inner region of the vast wilderness of the Great Himalayan Range.
Transcribed directly from the archived field notes and journals of explorer M.G. Hawking’s experiences in a closed and largely unexplored region of the Himalayas, this book contains detailed descriptions of three encounters Hawking and his companions experienced with what they believe were those fabled Himalayan Ri-iha-mo, providing first-hand accounts of the remarkable knowledge they revealed.
Who, or what, are the Ri-iha-mo? The creation stories of ancient civilizations worldwide relate that their progenitors came from the stars, the sky, or the heavens. The voluminous lore of the ancient Brahmaic and Egyptian traditions relates that in the antediluvian time of zp tpj (generally transcribed as Zep Tepi), the “first occasion” or “first time,” mysterious, highly enlightened “gods” appeared in Egypt, bearing previously unknown technology and knowledge. The texts inscribed on the walls of the Temple of Edfu in Upper Egypt contain explicit descriptions of the time of Zep Tepi and the coming of the “bringers of knowledge,” recounting their arrival in a “cosmic egg radiating colored light,” bearing the “gods” who brought the gift of civilization to Egypt, the primary of which was Ptah, whose rule, the texts tell us, began circa 18,000 BC.
During Hawking’s and his companion’s second and third encounters with the Ri-iha-mo, they disclosed profound revelations about our universe, our planet, and our true nature, revelations that can greatly assist in understanding ourselves, our world, its history, and our role and power in creating precisely the life we desire.
A truly incomparable book for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and personal power, and notably compelling for anyone interested in exploring the realities behind the ubiquitous ancient legends of celestial beings. Thought provoking and richly enlightening, this book will remain in your heart and mind long after the last words have been read.
