Author Bio:
Steve earned a B. A. Degree from the University of Texas, majoring in political science and minoring in history. Afterwards he passed his stock broker’s exam and worked for a time at a brokerage firm before returning to school. Upon earning his legal assistant certification from UCLA, he worked at a major law firm in Los Angeles. Successful stock market investments allowed him to retire early and to pursue two dreams, write and travel, and he has since traveled extensively and frequently to Europe.
He enjoys the cosmopolitan bustle, the sidewalk cafes, the museums, the history of Berlin, Rome, London, Vienna, Budapest, and Paris. He’s also drawn to historical sites such as the Waterloo battlefield in Belgium, the D-Day invasion beaches in Normandy and World War I battles on the Somme, both regions in France. Many of these locales, such as those capitals, find their way into his stories. When not traveling, he spends his time in San Diego, California, working up more ideas for novels and planning even more foreign trips.
He speaks some French and Italian, four words in German, and hopes to become more fluent in all three languages on his continuing trips abroad.
