Author Bio:
First time author Becky Snow has been writing poetry since she was in elementary school. She has always enjoyed the way writing can help with self-expression, imagination, and sharing stories that need to be told. During the pandemic of 2020 she decided to begin to use her poetry to create children’s books that teach life lessons. As a coach, consultant, and proud auntie she has seen young people struggle with accepting themselves as well as others. Becky was bullied and made fun of as a child because she was the only girl on all boys’ sports teams. She can relate to young people who feel they are different and sometimes not accepted. Her goal is that her series of books can shed light on accepting the self and all that makes one different, as well as having an open mind and heart towards others. Becky is originally from outside Albany, NY, but has also lived in Connecticut, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina. At every stop she has had the pleasure to work with young people in developing skills to help with confidence, perspective, overcoming challenges.
