Death is just the beginning.
A leap into the void can unite the lives of the most disparate people; however, when shadows take shape and voices whisper in your ear, the thin line between reality and madness becomes blurred.
Who hides behind the curtain, and what is the objective behind their macabre games?
When the light goes out and loneliness lurks, only one thing is certain: beware of the man in the hat.

Author Bio:
Driven by a fascination with the macabre, I began to write a book based on a small personal experience that I have from time to time; one that I’ve lived for years.
Many say they see the man in the hat after having experimented with drugs; I’ve never needed drugs to see him. I could tell you where I live and what my real name is, but the idea of staying one hundred percent hidden seems best to me, as I don’t want to be seen as a face but as the story you are reading. I am a 34-year-old woman, a novice in writing, with ideas that I needed to express and share. Think of me as a friend, a neighbor, someone you might know. I am the girl who serves you coffee in the morning, the woman who rings up your groceries at the supermarket, that person you see every day and don’t even know their name, because I can assure you, all those people have that little thought that occasionally pushes in their heads: Jump and don’t look back.
