Author Bio:
I grew up in South America and studied architecture in Germany. Growing up in Venezuela, my family endured poverty and I used my imagination and artistic ability to escape. As a child I loved listening to my mother’s stories of her childhood in Lanzarote, a magical volcanic island off the coast of Africa, and my father’s stories about growing up in an orphanage on the island of Java. I began writing ten years ago after my sister passed away. She loved writing but due to her struggles with mental health she was never able to do it. So, I felt I would write in her memory. My children’s stories are filled with thrilling adventures, spine-chilling encounters, dark secrets, magical places and all kinds of wondrous and sometimes terrifying creatures. I love illustrating my stories and after learning digital sculpting I have been modeling all my fantastical creatures in 3D and having lots of fun. I hope my characters will inspire children to pursue their passions, listen to their hearts and follow their own North stars.
