Rattled by a quake. Hammered by a wave. Dolphins love to play, but in the radioactive waters off Japan, is survival one game they’re destined to lose?
An epic disaster sees strangers Mako and Fusa swept onto the shores of Fukushima. Adrift from their pods, and with the nearby power plant spewing nuclear poison, they strive to understand why the god of the oceans is so angry. Could it be because Mako so rudely insulted him? And if so, do they stand any chance of evading Moshiri’s next strike?
Longing for calmer seas, and desperate to be reunited with their pods, the pair journey to find the mighty Moshiri and offer an apology. But on an adventure beset by orca clans, radioactive pollution and militarised dolphins, it’s an encounter with humans that will change everything.
After all, why should they fear a myth, when real danger hunts them from above the waves?

Author Bio:
I’m a Welshman with an unquenchable thirst for adventure. My latest pursuit is one I’ve been building up to my whole life – sharing my unique novels with anybody who might like to take a look!
Literature exploded into my life in my teen years through the books of George Orwell and lyrics of my favourite musicians. These broadened my horizons and lead me from the small Welsh council house I grew up in to a life of global adventure which I’d never have dreamt possible without books.
Working as a secondary school teacher has allowed me, not only to travel, but also to live overseas in lots of interesting places, including Libya, Thailand, Romania, Brunei and Azerbaijan, all the while collecting stories and honing my craft.
As you’ll probably have guessed, I’m a lover of animals and the natural world, but I never stay in one place long enough to have a pet of my own. The Animal Eyes series is perhaps a way of compensating for that.
