Author Bio:
JD was born a Texan, and therefore will always be a Texan. After college he spent 10 years wandering in the woods as a forester, then to the blame of an early midlife crisis, enrolled in law school, expecting to become Secretary of the Interior and manage the National Parks within just a few years. Oh well.
Instead, JD toiled as a young(ish) lawyer in Florida, working for big firms (wrong cup of tea), small firms, and companies. Finally settling in to his own practice with a few wonderful partners, and learning to love the ups and downs and ins and outs of raising a family, managing a law practice, and every wonderful day.
