About The Monkey Who Wish To Be A Deer:
A rhyming story about a monkey who realises he is perfect in his own way.
“Being a monkey is so-so boring,
Itching, picking ticks, and hanging on a tree.
I wish I could rather be a deer,
Shiny, smart, and jumping with glee.”
Kobu, the monkey, is unhappy at being a monkey and instead wants to be a shiny and smart deer. Even though his mother and friends explained to him that he is perfect in his own way, he went to pray to the Jungle God to turn him into a deer. Seeing the innocence of the monkey kid, the Jungle God granted his wish and turned him into a shiny golden deer. However, after being transformed to a deer, Kobu realised that being a deer is not that easy!
