Yevhen Lutsiv – teacher of Pasichnyansk primary school I-III, head of Nadvirnyan historical and educational society “Memorial”, deputy of the city council from the VO “Svoboda” faction, laureate of district prizes named after Nadia Popovych and Yury Shkrumelyak. The local historian is the author of 8 books: “Participation”, “From the Apiary to the Pasichna”, “Martial Art of the Hutsuls” and others.
This year, the author became a laureate of the literary prize named after V. Stefanyk in the nomination “Documentary and scientific-critical literature (aesthetics, literary studies, art studies, Ukrainian studies, art journalism, criticism, memoirs)” for the work “Bewitched from a Bullet and a Saber: Legends about Ukrainian Cossacks” and “Ukrainian Ancient Magical Rituals and Traditions”.
