Having read about the Cathars at Montsegur it was apparent that no one had written the full story. No one had considered if Otto Rahn’s secret notes could be found and if the Cathar treasure could be unearthed today. More importantly just what was the Cathar treasure and relic? And what impact would its discovery have on the world?
Intrigued the author made a number of research trips to Montsegur in France, Berlin, and other places in order to write this thought-provoking and highly plausible story. A story that needed to be told.
