Rosemond Sarpong Owens loves the Lord, loves people, and loves life. She is a storyteller with infectious enthusiasm about life. She is married with three daughters and a bonus son. She was born and bred in Kumasi, Ghana.
She attended Wesley Girls’ High School in Cape Coast, Ghana. She completed her undergraduate education in 1994at the University of Ghana, Legon- where she graduated with honors. She later followed her heart and moved to Minnesota, her second home where she had three children, developed a rainbow coalition, an amazing tribe with people from all walks of life.
She is known by some as Rose, Rosie and some even call her Rosemount but she doesn’t care how she is called as she believes a rose by any name is still sweet. She lives a victorious Christian life. She enjoys being married, cooking, memorizing and sharing scripture, throwing parties, and bringing people together around food.
In addition, she enjoys mentoring her daughters and other young people, especially young women. She gave her life to Christ as a teenager and has remained passionate about her faith and is unashamed about sharing her faith. She is a gifted speaker, a humorist, and sees a silver lining in every cloud. She calls herself a Chief Encouragement Officer, CEO because she believes that is why God created her.
