About The Castle between the Worlds:
An alternative universe of Arthurian legends. Four teenagers with legendary names (two young knights, Arthur and Lancelot, a slightly autistic half fairy Morgana, and a hostage prince Gwyn, in fact, princess Guinevere in men’s clothes, find themselves in a strategically important Pendragon’s castle, besieged by an army of werewolves. The castle is considered to be an impenetrable fortress, protected by the power of seven magic seals. But the seals are seriously impaired and constant errors in magic occur. The defenders of the castle will have to rely on their swords, their knowledge of magic and their team spirit as they hold out waiting for the king’s army to arrive.

Alla Melenteva is a writer, playwright, translator, essayist and literary critic. She received her bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Saint-Petersburg University. After graduation she worked as a teacher of English and news agency editor. Her writing interests include a broad range of genres, from literary criticism and opinion essays to sci-fi and fantasy.
