Three lost Duck Hunters from 1969 reunite after being lost through a portal in a no man’s land called Griffin Island in AD 29269, rescued by Elite Fireteam soldiers aided by a tribesman. Before sending the three lost Duck Hunters back to their time, they wonder how the earth turned into a dystopia. They also wonder how human civilization, along with all the rest of the living, survived. The answer to the question foretells a timeline, which concludes that men persist above and below the sea but never on land. The rest orbit the exosphere and colonize the moon, covered by massive biodomes that mimic Earth’s natural elements.
