About Snakeling, Cublet and O’Connors:
On a trip to Adelaide, the O’Connor family encounter two wild creatures- a baby fox and a tiny snake. Little did they know, they were about to encounter an adventure.
After the death of their mother, a family trip to Adelaide was organised, in the hope it would help Alex, Peter and Marty to come to terms with their loss.
Meanwhile, in the wild, two abandoned creatures – Cublet, (a young fox), and Snakeling, (a tiny, curious snake) – are trying to survive alone. The two unlikely creatures form an alliance in their bid to survive.
As their stories unfold side-by-side, it becomes clear that whether human or animal, the feelings of love and loss are part of everyone’s journey.
Join Snakeling, Cublet and the O’Connors on an adventure of survival, friendship, and the courage to move forward- no matter the odds.

Author Bio:
Georgette Noëllat was born in Australia in 1951, of Scottish and French parentage. Displaying prodigious talent in music, her first published book, ‘Theory for Young Students’, was written at the age of thirteen. Following on from the University of Melbourne Conservatorium, where she attained a degree in Music, she went on to study Law and practised as a Barrister and Solicitor, until illness and a stroke forced an early retirement.
Although Georgette was a fluent reader by the age of four, her brain function differed from other children. She was intolerant of books about fairies, witches, talking rabbits, and similar books for children that her local library bus had on offer. She would only read books on facts about the natural world and relied on her observations of the animals around her, helping her appreciate their unique differences.
Throughout her life as a music teacher, lawyer, artist, farmer and author, Georgette used her neurodiversity to look more intently into the contributions children and adults made, with diverse interests and abilities, delighting in the wonders this world has to offer.
