About Skirting the Issues by Lise Spence-Parsons:
This is the second book of short stories from author Lise Spence-Parsons. This time out, we get to read twenty-one stories from several genres, including historical fiction, spy stories, romances and ghostly tales. Some are sad, some are funny, some are tongue-in-cheek. All are interesting and designed to make you think.
The Awakening – a story of a life revealed.
A Long Time Coming – how do people of differing backgrounds overcome all?
Manners Maketh Man – a sideways look at the rules of yesterday’s etiquette.
What We Did! – an island of writing that will appear, slightly modified, in my full-length novel, ‘The Remains of Men’.
A Family History – a different view of the circumstances we currently live under.
I do hope that you enjoy this collection, as much as I did writing and putting it together. Thank you for taking the time to consider my writing.
