If you enjoy Nelson DeMille, Ken Follett, John Grisham or Dan Brown then you will love Ido Graf!
This suspense novel recounts a political conspiracy to subvert the democratic process and National Security in the USA and the West by far-right groups and a serving President. But why?’ It has a basis in fact.
“If ever a novel was ready to be made into a feature film it is this one – action, thrills, mystery, historical intrigue and romance, it has all the ingredients for the big screen. (See Glass) …grabs you from the very start as its clever prologue leads into 400 pages of rip-roaring adventure, the mostly short chapters – think James Patterson – meaning you often read for that little bit longer before turning out the bedroom light as you’re gripped by the action. Our hero is a swashbuckling James Bond meets John Wick, our heroine a Lily James-type gorgeous damsel in distress and the story romps along at 100-miles-an-hour.” Jeremy Ransome, Editor, Spalding Guardian, UK
A former Legionnaire had been working as a journalist in Paris. He met a mysterious American by chance when the latter sailed into a quiet fishing village nestled in a remote Andalusian bay. The sailor was ex-special forces and his background, part Jewish, Hispanic and Polish, had dictated his path in life. The yachtsman was also a former Legionnaire and he explained that he had been working in private security. Uncovering a secret – he told a story that at first seemed to be fictitious.
“Great story!” & “The author himself has had a very interesting life, which makes this book even more believable. He’s an excellent writer and tells a very interesting and descriptive story. It’s very Dan Brown and Tom Clancy-ish. …I think it’s fiction, but makes you wonder…” Darcey Spensley, Monticello Express, USA
However, the journalist began to question what he had been told. The violent deaths of an elderly Swiss gentleman and two of his gamekeepers in a lonely house in the English Shires served as the catalyst. The various strands of the frightening story began to come together. What followed was a life-and-death hunt for a secret that had its birth amid the destruction of Berlin in 1945. Will the love of a beautiful woman de-rail the events?
There were those within the Intelligence and Espionage agencies of the Middle East, Europe and the United States who struggled to come to terms with the enormity of the crisis. There were others within the corridors of political power who wished to prevent that secret from seeing the light of day. They will stop at nothing to reach that aim. When justice sleeps the devil comes out to play! Is it a story with no hero? A thriller with a premise so frightening that it must not be true!
The See Glass conspiracy novel was described as reminiscent, ‘…of “The Odessa File” & “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” ‘.
One former U.S. Navy man described the See Glass action & adventure novel as having a style which, ‘…is very “Tom Clancy”. Exciting storyline with real-world events as a backdrop. Another Clancy trademark you have is utilizing real-world existing/former agencies and military units.’
This thrillers recounting of a political and military conspiracy so great that it could, at best, topple the old order of the world powers has a deeply concerning resonance today. Is this adventure book fact or fiction? You must decide for yourself!
The conspiracy is widespread and adversaries are as motivated as Adam. Stalked by assassins and involved in a cat and mouse hunt for a secret hidden since the war the path is perilous and the discovery truly shocking.
