“Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Occam to thriller fans everywhere, especially those who relish a dark kidnapping story with constant suspense and an eerily accurate portrayal of psychological torment at its very worst. ★★★★★” – K.C Finn, Reviewer @ Readers’ Favourite
When drug lord Joaquin Jagger kidnaps author Conrad Lockhart to pen his legacy, he must write for his life.
Conrad wakes in the Timor, where he is free to roam the grounds and order whatever he likes, providing he fulfils his assigned task. But the hotel, and the people within, are not what they seem.
Battling his demons, Conrad must write a chapter a day… or face the consequences. Between unnerving obstacles, unrelenting mysteries, and haunting memories, it proves to be an arduous task. With each punishment more depraved than the last, Conrad plots his escape.
But will he find freedom, or the ultimate damnation?

Author Bio:
I started writing in 2008, and after years of professional rejection, I started my self-publishing journey in 2020. I enjoy any story that keeps me guessing, hate contradiction, and fear spiders and hypodermic needles.
Writing is my meditation.
My favourite books are 1984 (George Orwell) and A Cruel Bird Came to the Nest and Looked In (Magnus Mills).
When I’m not writing in Brisbane, I’m facilitating workshops, MCing conferences, and keynote speaking all over Australia—both face to face and virtually.
