About Matchmade Hearts (Holiday Knights Book 2):
♥ Valentine’s Day at the castle! ♥
She plays matchmaker to others, but never expected to fall for the least-likely match for herself.
The Matchmaker:
Lady Philippa Willoughby is known for hosting many gatherings and celebrations at the castle. Somewhat meddlesome at times, she has taken it upon herself to play matchmakers to the villagers. This, along with her carefree ways, causes her to be the brunt of gossip, labeling her as an improper lady. When her father betroths her to a Frenchman she’s never met, she rebels, planning on finding a match for herself at the upcoming St. Valentine’s Day dance. However, she never expects to be attracted to the only man who would never want her.
The Novice:
Lord Etienne de Beynac, the youngest of six brothers has managed to disgrace his family with his drunken and wild ways. When his family disowns him, he needs redemption and has no choice but to agree to his father’s ridiculous plan. He is sent to join a monastery across the channel in England. Etienne gets one last chance to redeem himself, but is expected to take his vows and live the rest of his life as a monk.
As a favor to his brother, he journeys to Grimsthorpe Castle to spy on his brother’s betrothed. Etienne is expected to find out if Lady Philippa is an improper lady or someone with whom his family can align. Once there, he discovers a strong attraction for Philippa that threatens not only his brother’s marriage to the girl, but also his own vows of becoming a monk.
Will the union of two misfits prove to be a match that no one saw coming? Which vows will be honored in the end?
