What at first seems to be a mismatched assortment of tales comes together to explore this idea of freedom. Where the story is going is anyone’s guess, but it narrows its focus in the second half of the book. It questions our understanding of freedom while running through warzones, explotation, heartbreak and other such circumstances that torture the fragile human heart.

A Canadian craving a good story, regardless of where it comes from. Whether a well-written novel or the ranting of the man outside my building who is certain I work for the CIA, I’m all in if the story is intriguing. I’ll probably spend the rest of my life lost in fantastic worlds, and at the end of it all I’ll happily look back on my mind’s journey.
