What does love sound like? This is the question that a young deaf boy named Shepherd asks his mother before taking off his cochlear implant processors one night. Together, through playful and poetic dialogue, they discover that love is much more than a sound – you can see, smell, taste, and touch it, too! The goal of this book is to increase deaf representation in children’s literature while resonating with all young readers through a fun exploration of the five senses. The Love Sounds Like eBook will be free on March 4 and 5.
