About Lotharingia-Charlemagne’s Heir:
The youths of Matilda of Tuscany and Henry of Germany are reimagined in this novel of female and male power, love, betrayal, and survival. Lotharingia is a sweeping tapestry of abbeys and castles, relics and prophecies, saintly hermits, scheming cardinals and princes, and the forgotten medieval women who dared the impossible: to rule in a man’s world.
‘Stunningly researched.’
‘A classic.’
