Arriving in Babylon, Mehen finds himself drawn to the city’s wonders, seduced by her magick. Meeting Melcazar, he finds himself compelled by the High Priest, whose beauty matches that of the city he represents; yet, he is surprised to find Melcazar has another side as a fearsome warrior.
Mehen falls under the spell of Babylon but soon realizes that she has secrets of her own. Danger surrounds him, his one bright spot is the love of Nepthys a young priestess; yet she is haunted by sadness.
