London After Midnight is one of the most sought after lost films of the silent era. Destroyed in the MGM fire of 1965, only its iconic imagery has survived – the acclaimed Lon Chaney in his guise of “The Man in the Beaver Hat”.
In 2023, Jack Bowman, Lance Roger Axt and Kenton Hall, working from the original screenplay by Tod Browning and Waldermar Young, have created a brand new full-cast audio version, starring Art Malik in the role made famous by Chaney and allowing the full story to be experienced for the first time in nearly 60 years.
This book includes Lance Roger Axt’s and Kenton Hall’s script, production diaries from co-directors Jack Bowman and Kenton Hall and a brand new, exclusive novelisation of the audio script by Kenton Hall.

Author Bio:
Kenton Hall is a Canadian author, actor, musician and director. Most importantly, however, he is a cautionary tale about the importance of having something to fall back on.
He was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan – the sunshine capital of his home country – but now lives and works in the United Kingdom, where his disposition makes more sense.
Everything in between is a bit of a blur.
He is the author of Bisection – a comic memoir of living and parenting with bipolar disorder, Sherlock Holmes: The Woman Who Wasn’t and Children of the Circus (the official sequel to Doctor Who’s The Greatest Show in the Galaxy) and co-author, with Lance Roger Axt & Jack Bowman of London After Midnight.
