Anthony Cochrane calls Riverdale Terrace home since he came back from the Vietnam war. Being back home from the war as a veteran has not been easy for Tony. He has raised his only son, Junior by himself. He preferred to ignore the real problem that is taking over his life as he suffers, like so many soldiers, of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He drinks to hide his pain. He has lost faith in life and God…
His son, tired of asking Tony to get his act together and get the help he needs, decides to leave after a particularly dark PTSD episode. Tony decides to focus on finding his son and still ignoring his PTSD. For many years, he will search the whereabouts of Junior aimlessly.
Will his search bring him closer to his son and renew his faith in God? Will he be able to get the help he needs and start living again? Will God show him the way, even if Tony thinks he does not deserve happiness?
