About Coming Home – Poetry and Images By J. Thomas Larks:
COMING HOME is J. Thomas Larks looking out his window, taking a daydreaming walk on a quiet day. It was written in 2020-21 when the world stopped for a moment, like coming home after a long day’s work.
COMING HOME is a book of poetry and images. It is a book for the mind and for the eyes. Take off your shoes, put on a kettle and your favorite music. Don’t look for page numbers, open anywhere inside and have a quiet moment: read, look, feel. This is what coming home is meant to be after a long day’s work. This moment is for you.

Author Bio:
Known for his quiet moments poetry, J. Thomas Larks was born and raised in Montreal in the 50’s. Third child in a busy family of 4 siblings, he immediately showed interest in everything creative : drawing, photography, stories.
Working as a graphic designer, he grew weary of selling his talents to people who do not care for things and stuff that do not matter. “Beautiful is the enemy of good” he was told about his work not being commercial enough.
Private and reserved, he found words need not be in great numbers to tell a compelling story. Just as a picture can tell a thousand words, Thomas’ poetry is meant to draw on your emotions.
As a debut author born of the 2019 pandemic, COMING HOME is his first foray in the prodigious world of images and thoughts where beautiful is no longer the enemy.
