About Children of the Godhead: Reconciled to God Through Jesus Christ by Diane Margo Penny:
King David asked the question: “What is man, that thou are mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him” (Ps. 8:4)? Mankind is still seeking answers to this age-old question. With the use of scriptural reference, Children of the Godhead answers this age-old question by providing some amazing facts about God and his relationship with the saints of God.
God chose the people of Israel to be his special people and separated them from the other nations of the world. However, the children of Israel rebelled against God by disobeying his commandments, and rejecting the words of his prophets. The primary message of the Holy Bible from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation is God’s desire to be reconciled to his people. To save his precious people from destruction God devised a plan of salvation that would reconcile his people to him. Through his son, Jesus Christ, God would extend himself to mankind.
The mission of Jesus Christ was three-fold. Jesus was to sacrifice his life for the sins of mankind; be the means through which God sends the Holy Ghost to mankind, and establish the Kingdom of God on earth. As Jesus takes his last breath on the cross, he said, “It is finished.” After three days, Jesus was resurrected having all power in heaven and in the earth. Jesus Christ was the first extension of the Godhead in the earth.
Jesus Christ returns to God after his resurrection and God combined his spirit with the ghost of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost was born. The Holy Ghost is a gift to mankind and the second extension of the Godhead in the earth.
Fulfilling God’s plan of salvation requires that mankind repents of their sins; are baptized in water for the remission of sins, and receive the indwelling spirit of the Holy Ghost. After fulfilling the salvation process, mankind is reconciled to God.
Children of the Godhead describes the true relationship that God desires to have with his saints. This book takes a unique look and the Godhead and the kingdom of God as described in the words of scripture and reveals that God desires to have a more intimate relationship with his saints than what is taught through religious traditions. This book reveals that the answer to mankind’s continual quest for spiritual identity is found in their relationship to God.
