About Ordinary Days: A Poetry Collection:
I’m of the opinion that in poetry there are no days too commonplace to capture. The most mundane has something of interest.
Each poem in this collection stands alone like an artifact for curiosity. The book is more like a museum displaying ordinary moments – and some not so ordinary – through images and lyric. They were written during the years 2016 through 2018. There are hybrids of haiku, senryu, other forms, and short to longer free-verse poems; all written in a contemporary style. Readers can enter any room at any time and start reading. A variety of poems to read–from the humorous, emotional, serious, reflective, to the profound with layers of meaning.
