About Be Still: Spiritual Self-Care for Mental Health Professionals: Leader Guide:
God designed us to live in community and in fellowship with one another, and intentionally gathering in groups to study together fulfills this need in many people. Be Still: Spiritual Self-Care for Mental Health Professionals was designed for professionals in the mental health field to reflect on self-care from a Jesus-centered, Bible-focused point of view. With this Leader Guide for Be Still, a group leader gains the tools to lead others in discussions on the topics in the book (i.e., the importance of spiritual self-care, learning more about God, praying, reflecting on biblical thoughts, studying the Bible, saying no in a loving way, and caring for oneself) and guide the group to deeper conversation through group activities. Each chapter guide includes discussion questions and a worksheet to prompt the group to share what they are learning, as well as templates for prayer requests and scripture memorization. Is this your first time leading a group, or are you not sure how to start a group on this topic? In this Leader Guide you will find examples for group time structure and a group timeline. Whether you are using this guide to lead your group through all of the activities or just one or two, this Leader Guide for Be Still was written to assist you in crafting the ideal group leading experience for your group members.
