Author Bio:
Stephen Shaiken was a criminal defense lawyer for more than three decades. Before law school, he earned an MA in creative writing. He lived in Bangkok for several years and is a frequent long-term visitor. He is the author of the acclaimed NJA club Series, as well as a work of historical fiction, Queensborough Rock, set amidst the rock and roll world of New York city, circa 1970. He has written several short stories, in a variety of genres: mystery/thriller, science fiction, humor, literary, historical. He currently lives with his wife, Josephine, in Tampa, Florida, along with a rescue Greyhound named Ginger, and a rescue cat named Curious. When not writing, Stephen enjoys travel, politics, playing guitar, yoga, gardening, and watching great cinema.
