April McGuire grew up in a loving family in rural Kentucky. Now she lives in the big city of Columbus, Ohio, and loves volunteering in a shelter for homeless families.
Sparks fly when April meets Harlan Kennedy, a salesman from Los Angeles. But a simple country girl who loves family doesn’t understand a fancy city guy who wants none, and vice-versa.
A snowy carriage ride and a glittering holiday ball add to the romance. But when the shelter needs help to save the holiday for its families, different priorities threaten to push April and Harlan apart forever. The two will need a small holiday miracle to finally bring them together at April’s Christmas.

Author Bio:
Hazel Ann Williams began her writing career in the early 1980s with poetry and short stories written for the science fiction and fantasy fanzines of the day.
She and a friend – now known as author Janeen O’Kerry – wanted to break into writing novels, so together they wrote three: A *Star Trek* novel; a rather steamy romance; and, finally, a sweet romance called *April’s Christmas.*
April got them started when Avalon Books published that novel in 1994. It is available now as a paperback and as a Kindle Unlimited e-book.
