Reginald Wade, a 53-year-old single father of a daughter, was born in ST. Louis, MO and grew up in E. St. Louis, IL. At 12, he and his family moved to Bowling Green, KY. Ten years later, he moved back to IL to take care of his mother. Being a single father, he took intense care of his daughter and raised her by himself.
When it came to his passion for writing, he became interested in writing something in his mid-twenties. He began his writing journey by writing poetry and acquired a big appreciation from his friends and family. Later, he took an interest in writing different kinds of screenplays by reading several pieces of screenplays online. The writing masterpieces that inspired Reginald Wade are “Pulp Fiction” and “Jackie Brown” by Quentin Tarantino, The Godfather, “Memento” by Christopher Nolan, and “Do the Right Thing” by Spike Lee. He never enrolled in any special training for writing; instead, he nurtured and trained himself by thoroughly studying TV shows and Films, paying deep attention to the dialogues, direction, flow, and cinematography, and discovering a three-act structure for writing screenplays. He later wrote three of his own comedy screenplay scripts, infusing his immense sense of humor. One short length and two full-lengths.
