When two illnesses meet, we rarely expect the phenomenon of healing to be the result.
This is the story of two like-minded soulmates.
Of the two, my name is PTSD.
This multimedia narrative memoir in twenty-one poems and six songs written over twenty months in my private journal is the musical tale of how my healing came about, a crumb of who I am.
For every trapped rat in the rat race of this world, for every mind that seeks relief, every heart ridden with a burden or a seemingly inescapable condition – there is hope.
All proceeds from this book will be put into my campaign against child sexual abuse.
Mariam is a believer of inherent goodness and in the active expression of affection to contribute to it. Perched upon trees, she writes songs, poems and prose about her experiences as ‘crumbs’ of who she is – every work then being identified as a CrumbOfMariam.
She is a personal safety educator who runs a campaign against child sexual abuse; a freelancer, singer-songwriter, and an aspiring English language trainer.
Mariam lives in Kottayam with her mother, brother and two dogs.
