I write science fiction and I write romance, for I love them both and never could choose one or the other. Yet I do not combine the two; each stays firmly in its own house and, I hope, shows a love for the classics of each genre.
Well, okay, I love fantasy and history, too, and those often show up in my romance novels. But the science fiction is as old-school as I can make it, growing up as I did on the ABCs of Asimov, Bradbuary, and Clarke – and, of course, Robert Heinlein and *Star Trek.*
Today I am a full-time novelist, ghostwriter, and copy editor, and I never use artificial intelligence (AI) software of any kind when creating or editing my books. I can often be found doing workshops and panels at writers’ events and conventions.
