Zachary Rule is an airline pilot based in Brisbane, Australia, who wrote his debut novel, Silencing the Rain, in his spare time between flights. The story is set in Papua New Guinea, a place with deep personal meaning — his grandparents served as missionaries there for forty years, and it’s where his father was born. Zachary is married with four kids, and when he’s not flying or writing, you’ll find him staying active, at church, or spending time with family and friends.
