He wants her dead. She’s determined to stop his killing spree. An ancient locket mentally connects them in a symbiotic battle. With the help of a CIA operative, can she stop a contract killer before he completes his mission or the mental strain destroys her?
Dr. Amelia Rimgold is a young research chemist about to testify in a generic drug fraud. Descended from a Salem resident hung as a witch, she believes her locket, like an amulet, has powers to keep her safe. Her beliefs are put to the test when a contract killer attacks her and takes the locket. While she survives the attack, she finds herself bound to the killer through the paranormal amulet. She can see his thoughts and actions, but also experiences sympathetic rages.
CIA operative Ted Bester doesn’t believe in things he can’t explain, but when the chemist demonstrates her abilities, he’s convinced. Now he must keep her safe, find the killer, and help her break the connection between them before it’s too late.
As the pair track the hit man, they become the hunted after he discovers a way to turn the power of the amulet against them through voodoo magic. Once he realizes his power, he redoubles his efforts to complete his contract and finish off his one mistake.

I write action-packed novels that come with a tinge of paranormal to spice the plot. I write because I love it and because I see strange patterns in everything. Life in many of its twisted renditions is all around me and it’s just too tempting not to pick one thread and start unraveling…until the story comes out. I never make notes on paper or anywhere else. I live with a story in my head, over and over, and when it’s done settling into its proper shape, I sit down and write it. As for ideas…one day something interesting catches my eye as I drive by or ride by in a train, and a story is born. Often I also lift my head at night and stare at the sky. After a while, a sci-fi story comes out. It’s all about looking at something, somewhere and wondering what if…? I only wish I had more time to read…but life is all about trade-offs.
