About Royal Magic:
Gwendafyn is suffocating under the weight of a crown she doesn’t even wear. Acting as regent for the elven throne while her sister, the crown princess, prepares to wed, she hides her passionate temperament behind flawless etiquette—until the weight of duty threatens to crush her completely.
Benjimir, once the crown prince of the human country of Calnor, is now a disgraced outsider in his own kingdom. Stripped of his birthright due to his ruthless actions, he is forced to watch the woman he loves slip beyond his reach while whispers of unrest swirl between his country and their elven allies.
When Gwendafyn discovers the one loophole that can free her from her gilded cage—marriage to a human—she’s desperate enough to risk it. However, most human men don’t even speak her language. But there is one who can: Benjimir, the scorned prince with a dangerous reputation.
A marriage of convenience could save them both. But as tensions flare between elves and humans, desire sparks where duty once ruled. What begins as a political alliance may ignite into something neither of them dared hope for.
