About Mac: Fire & Found (Book 1):
Mac MacIntyre has spent a decade proving fire can’t touch him. His own marriage is about to prove him wrong.
His wife decides to burn his life down instead of just leaving it — and brings a corrupt cop along to help her do it.
He doesn’t need comfort. He needs a weapon. He gets one in Rowan Blackwood: a defense attorney with a reputation for destroying men who think the system belongs to them.
She’s not supposed to notice the way he looks at her like she’s the first steady thing he’s found in years. He’s not supposed to notice that the sharpest woman he’s ever met has a version of herself she never lets anyone see.
Neither of them plans on falling. Both of them do anyway — right as the danger stops being legal, and starts being lethal.
Not every fire burns you down. Some set you free.

Author Bio:
Kimberly Nyxx writes steamy romance full of swoon-worthy heroes, slow burns, and happy endings she refuses to compromise on — mostly because she’s tried writing sad endings and her characters staged a mutiny. Every hero starts out as a dream man conjured straight from Kimberly’s own imagination, which runs wild and has never once stayed in its lane. When not plotting fake-outs, slow burns, and third-act rescues, Kimberly can be found doing extensive “research,” negotiating with characters who refuse to behave, and demanding one more happy ending than the outline technically calls for (the outline has learned to just go along with it).
A certified sucker for a happy ending, Kimberly believes every good couple deserves a few obstacles, a lot of chemistry, and a finish so satisfying you’ll want to start the book over immediately.
When not writing, Kimberly enjoys reading, gaming, oat chais, and pretending the laundry will fold itself while the next chapter gets outlined instead. (It has not, in fact, folded itself. She remains hopeful.)
