Bill Clark, a small town newspaper publisher, recalls a childhood memory of a young nude girl collapsing on his family’s front porch in South Texas. His wife encourages him to go back to his home town to research the story in order to find out what happened to his estranged mother, whom Bill believed to be dead. He solicits the help of a beguiling blonde who is also a small town newspaper publisher. This leads him to uncover other events including, government corruption, kidnapping, and even murder. Everything leads back to a ranch that becomes a church that is turned into a cult, but ultimately a nudist resort called Fifth Sun. To find answers, he ends up getting nude, arrested, escapes, and trapped in a relatively nice underground bunker.
