Author Bio:
Carl Parsons, a former manufacturing manager for TRW Automotive, has had a secondary career as a college instructor of rhetoric and literature. He has a BA and MA in English from West Virginia University; doctoral course work completed at the University of Pittsburgh, plus a MS in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University. Now retired from TRW Automotive, he has published more than a dozen short stories with a variety of journals and has a novel, Locust Hill, serialized with Spillwords Press. More recently (2023-24) he has published three novels—Trios: Death, Deceit, and Politics, Shantyboat: American Dystopia, and Locust Hill: A Romantic Family Saga—plus a short story collection entitled Town and Country: Voices from the Mid-Ohio Valley, and most recently Eros and Order: Love That Creates and Destroys, all published by Wordwooze Publishing. He has also served as associate editor for Heater, a crime fiction magazine, and is a member of West Virginia Writers, Inc. Born in Parkersburg, WV, he now resides in Kodak, TN.
