Stories Heard From the Heart’s Whisper

About Stories Heard From the Heart’s Whisper:

What stories would your heart tell, if only it had a voice?
In what memories would your soul live, if only it had a choice?
In Dyson Russell’s second anthological collection of poetry, he seeks to gift the power of words to the heart and soul… Allowing for dramatic exploration of the depths of human emotion and experience through the guise of the unconscious – the inner spirit. Uniquely structured, and broken into ten chapters, Russell uses his penchant for poetic narrative to tell a story that is truly whispered from the secrets of the heart. Take the quest, and walk side by side your soul, as you uncover ‘Stories Heard From the Heart’s Whisper’

“Stories Heard from the Heart’s Whisper by Dyson Russell is a volume of masterful poetry you will want to read again and again” – Reader Views

My book ‘Shine a Light’ is an updated version
(Updated in May 2025).

The paperback is written in English and is priced at £5.50.
It is also available in kindle unlimited for free.

‘Shine A Light’ puts a spotlight on
real-life experiences. This inspirational book
of twenty-seven poems (one of which is a four-
part poem called ‘Summer Holiday’).
All poems talk about life-experiences, some of
which are personal to the Author herself, from
growing up in the 1960’s right through to recent
times. The Author covers many a subject such
as hormonal changes, bullying and hate-
crimes, sexual orientation, sexism, child abuse,
mental health, religion.and relevant issues in
the world.
The Author also talks about love, compassion,
happiness, education, holidays and coming
together to care and share our problems, and to keep optimism in your heart and soul.
One thing that is clear is that the
Author gives her encouragement and can
relate herself and her own life experiences
to those of her readers. She understands
that sometimes life can be cruel and
unpredictable, and the pressures can
become overwhelming at times (just like a
rollercoaster ride – one minute up, the next

The Author wants us to develop a certain
mindset to prepare ourselves for the challenges that life can throw our way, to come together, join hands and learn from our mistakes, reflect and improve our lives and for future generations. Together we can stamp out greed, selfishness, and hate!!
The poems in this book will leave you, the
reader with mixed emotions. Some may make
you laugh; some may make you sad and may
bring a tear to your eye!
ALWAYS REMEMBER, NEVER GIVE UP HOPE

Nothing and Everything by Engin Ozertugrul

About Featured Book: Nothing and Everything by Engin Ozertugrul

In Nothing and Everything, a new poetry collection by Dr. Engin Ozertugrul, the reader is invited into a deeply personal exploration of human existence, where paradox and transcendence coexist. Known for his previous work Interview with OCD, Dr. Ozertugrul turns his attention toward poetic expression as a channel for unpacking the intricate relationship between consciousness, emotion, and divinity.

Rather than writing with structured rhyme or literary perfection, Dr. Ozertugrul uses repetition, simplicity, and second-person narration to communicate a universal truth: we are all connected, we are all uncertain, and that’s where the beauty lies. “Poetry is the universal mathematics without numbers; it measures the depth of the spirit and heart,” says Ozertugrul.

Nothing and Everything avoids common poetic tropes—this is not a book about romance or singular religious views. Instead, it is a collection rooted in the raw human experience: fear, sadness, anger, and hope. Each poem wrestles with the limitations of what we can truly understand, while never descending into nihilism. The author leads readers instead to a place of meditative peace, born of acceptance and awareness.

Dr. Ozertugrul’s inspiration is wide-ranging and spiritual without adhering to a single tradition. He credits the influence of Transcendental Meditation (TM), which has guided his understanding of consciousness and personal transformation. “I am grateful for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s TM. It has had a profound impact on my experience of an amazing thing called consciousness,” he writes.

The poems reflect this practice and the insights gained from other thinkers who shaped his worldview—Rumi, Spinoza, Carl Jung, Kant, Emerson, and William Blake among them. Their philosophical echoes are present but reinterpreted through a deeply contemporary and individual lens.

“This book is about being human,” Ozertugrul says. “It’s about our challenges, disappointments. It’s about our fears, anger, and hate—but it is also about joy and peace.”

Written with what the author calls “a better use of his OCD mind,” the poems layer repetition to create a kind of spiritual hypnosis. Readers familiar with mindfulness, meditation, and even existential philosophy will find something resonant in its lines.

This book is likely to appeal strongly to adults with an interest in meditation, mindfulness, and nontraditional spirituality. Communities associated with TM and organizations like the David Lynch Foundation will find much to contemplate in its pages.

Though this is not a self-help book, Nothing and Everything does offer comfort. Not by giving answers, but by giving readers space to sit with their questions

Lifetimes & Life’s Lines

About Lifetimes & Life’s Lines:

Good poetry should help us age more joyfully:
“Follow me off a country road into dense deliverance, away from all things carnal, where mildewed wood chip paths meander through firefly ambiance and unseen moth kisses to a shadow eating burn pit with still moods.”
Each time we reread our favorite poems, we find ourselves feeling more and more a part of those yellowing pages until, at some whimsical point, we wish never to leave them.

Lost Boyz To Men: From My Heart To Your Eyez by Marquis Jackson

About Lost Boyz To Men: From My Heart To Your Eyez by Marquis Jackson:

Step into the lyrical world of Lost Boyz To Men: From My Heart To Your Eyez where each poem is a portal into the depths of the human experience.

Prepare to be ushered into an intimate poetic journey that spans the raw recesses of the human experience. This isn’t just an autobiography; it’s a lyrical testament to the resilience of the spirit and the transformative power of words.

Each poem serves as a window, shedding light on the myriad phases of the author’s life. From the naive wonders of childhood, through the turbulent storms of adolescence, and into the reflective introspections of adulthood, every poem is a snapshot, capturing moments that are both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Trials lay the groundwork. These poems echo with heartbreaks, missed opportunities, and battles with inner struggles. The poet doesn’t shy away from the darkness that sometimes shrouds life, instead choosing to confront it head-on with words that both sting and soothe.

Transparency is where the soul of the book truly shines. While observing these poems the readers will find brutally honest reflections on the self, unfiltered emotions, and revelations about the author’s struggles with identity, relationships, and purpose. These poems act as confessions, giving voice to the silent sufferings and hidden yearnings that many of us feel but are often too afraid to express.

And finally, in Triumph, the tone evolves from despair to determination, from contemplation to celebration. The poems here are tributes to victories big and small—overcoming past traumas, finding love in unexpected places, and embracing one’s own uniqueness. They resonate with hope, reminding readers that after every storm, there’s a rainbow waiting to be discovered.

Accompanied by original illustrations that mirror the evocative nature of the poems, Lost Boyz To Men is more than a collection of words. It’s a symphony of emotions, a manifesto of survival, and a beacon of hope. Readers will emerge from its pages with a renewed appreciation for life’s highs and lows, and the preciousness of each moment in between.
