Author Bio:

Max D Smith has a background of 37 years working in many hospitals and clinical settings caring for patients of all ages. A large part of his professional work has involved education for patients, nurses and physicians.

When not working, he also educates in motorsports. As a driving instructor for Porsche Club of America and other motorsport organizations, Max has worked with clients of all ages and ethnicities, teaching them high-speed, performance driving on racetracks.

Much of this teaching involves growing confidence, being aware of surroundings, and being respectful and considerate of other drivers. Learning what their car’s limits are as well as what their personal limits are.

A huge factor in this type of training involves managing their emotions. Fear, lack of confidence, and anger.

Max’s passion for educating and helping others has evolved into writing books that help people find solutions to problems that are holding them back from being their best self.

When not working on books or publishing, Max enjoys spending time with his wife, and family of animals. He loves puttering in the garage, working in his multiple gardens and yard, exercising at the gym, walking, golfing, and driving racecars.
