About An Unexpected Adventure by M. Anthony Harris:
One minute Asa was trading tarts in the town of Featherbottom. The next, a Nightmare Storm hurled him across Arlandia and stole every memory he owned.
Alone in a land full of stinging jellygoos who fly, stampeding sharkufalo, lobadiles, and other hungry predators, young Asa has one shot at getting home: a grumpy, mountain panther matriarch named Cayenne Redpaw, personally chosen by the Maker to be his guide.
What follows is an unforgettable trek across forests that float, hills that roll, and plains that wander—where every step could be their last, and every lesson could make Asa the hero he was always meant to be.
Full of heart, humor, and high-stakes adventure, An Unexpected Adventure is a roaring good time for anyone who’s ever felt small but dreamed big.
