“Loved this book, very well written and I think will help anyone that is struggling with their health and trying to continue their day to day life.”
“A truly inspirational read, that illustrates a person’s suffering, trials and tribulations but still leaves you at the end of the book with a positive outlook on life, and feeling anything is achievable.”
“A page turning book of raw honesty and courage as Anna deals with her constant pain with no name that fitted into the usual medical boxes. Her positive attitude and memory for detail shine through her darkest moments as she literally fights for her life. I read You are my sunshine in one greedy go as it had all the ingredients a good book needs, laughter tears and an inspiring lead character whose children are her amazing side kicks.”
A clip from the book, ‘My advice to each and everyone is not to leave it till it’s too late, treasure your friends and family, don’t leave it to tell people that you love them, make time for people who you care about; I guarantee that your life will be enriched and happier if you do. People can surprise you in all manner of fantastic ways!’
Anna was born in Crewe Cheshire and she still lives close to where she grew up. She married young and had two fabulous children, Jack in 1992 and Ella in 1995. When the children were still pretty young, she was divorced and started a journey as a single parent. She is a new author and wrote her book as a type of self healing project, after she went through some really tough times. She also wanted to share her experiences with other people, who had been through similar experiences. Her background is in education; she worked with vulnerable and disaffected high school children and she loved her job; unfortunately due to her illness she had to rethink her career path and life in general! She counts herself very lucky to have two fantastic children, a great family and amazing friends who have all helped make her new life even better than her old life in many ways.
