When Teddy hears new neighbors moving in to the house next door, it happens to be over night. Who does that? If you think it might be a little odd, you are not the only one. Odd becomes an understatement as Teddy becomes friends with Blart, the new neighbors’ son. Both the boys are the same age, and find out they have a ton in common. Just like two peas in a pod, or a peanut that overgrows on one side. Exactly the same…if you ignore the outside.
The adventure begins the weekend before the new school year, when Teddy decides to help Blart with a small problem. It is absolutely necessary to be fixed before school starts, which should be easy. Little does Teddy know, the problem is more complex than he thought. With a little research and some trial and error, Teddy tries a number of solutions only to discover the problem may not be what he thought it was in the first place. With a new school year starting in just two days, can Teddy find a solution for his friend Blart ?
A child at heart, Dominic Cosme has found a special enjoyment for writing children’s literature. “When I think on my life, it makes sense to find enjoyment in this medium. I’ve always loved the creative process, and I have truly found my voice in writing. In addition to writing, Dominic has always had a passion for reading. He started reading early and has been an avid reader since. His reading interests span from the Classics, to Science Fiction, Historical Novels, and even some Young Adult; he loves them all.
Cosmé believes that reading is one of the most important learning blocks for children. “With so many digital distractions in our world, getting children interested in books and reading is very important. Ardent reading develops young minds and gives them deeper understanding of language & grammar, which will benefit them always. We have to cultivate that passion for reading in our youth.”
Living in Denton, Texas, with his wife and three children (all boys, two of which are twins!), he’s never short on inspiration. He spends time skateboarding, playing soccer, and gaming, with his kids. Staying active with his children and in-touch with the youth remains important to him.
Like other artists and authors, Dominic depend
