Jim had broken up with his long-time girlfriend and was alone. He had spent so much time with her he lost contact with his friends and acquaintances, so he went to a dance club he used to frequent in hopes of meeting someone. What he didn’t know was the club had made some changes. The minor change was they renamed the club. The major change was the cliental had changed their sex.
The club was a transsexual hangout and Jim had gotten acquainted with two ‘women’ before he found out. One of them was trans and he had a sexual encounter with both of them that left him questioning his own sexual orientation, especially since it was the best sex he‘d ever had. Where he once thought of himself as completely heterosexual, the encounter made him re-assess who and what he was. It was a traumatic and psychologically taxing experience for him, but in the end he comes to terms with his libido and orientation.

I live on a boat in a marina with my wife. We enjoy the ambience, friendliness, and leisurely lifestyle living afloat. It gives me time to thoroughly contemplate my stories and work out the plot details and emotions of my characters.
I write with the intention of always having my characters react to situations in a realistic manner. Many of my stories have a basis in a real-life event, even if they are fictionalized. I want my readers to identify with my characters motivations even if they would never find themselves in a similar situation.
My characters almost always find themselves in a strange situation not of their making. They usually have to work through a new experience or dilemma they had never faced previously. I like to show that they learn and grow from the experience and that they become better from having gone through it.
