This book is a must read for fans of “Supernatural”
Father Gunter, a former priest, is a demon’s worst enemy. He watches a news story one night about an outbreak of SIDS in a small farming community. His demon hunting senses kick in, and he realizes there is something paranormal here – a demon is at work. He travels to the town, and starts his investigation.
Along the way, he battles demons and finds that he, himself, is being hunted. One night, he receives a visit from the local priest, who brings him some surprising news. The whole time, he is searching for his sister, who was taken by a demon 5 years ago.
Praise for The Bucktown Babies
Anyone who enjoys reading about demonic possession and exorcisms — and who doesn’t? — should be as thrilled as I was to follow along with Father Gunter on this case. I will also be looking forward to his next adventure: The Raven Flies at Night. The Bucktown Babies is most highly recommended – 5 Star Review From Jack Mangus for Readers’ Favorite
What I really liked was how the whole paranormal aspect was done and that it made the unbelievable parts more real – Seans Book Reviews Book Blog
The Bucktown Babies is a solid start to what looks set to be a dark and intriguing series. Ideal for fans of the super natural genre. – By The Letter Book Reviews Book Blog
As intriguing as the starting was, the ending left me with enough suspense and questions regarding the Dodge and Father Gunther’s past. I am sure I will be piecing together his past like a puzzle with the bits the author is sure to send my way in each book. I am definitely interested enough to follow the series! – The Book Drealms Book Blog
I was born in Pennsylvania, raised in New Jersey, and now my husband and I live in beautiful Mesa Arizona.
In the 1990’s, I was a motorsports photographer, along with my husband Joe. Together, we traveled the country photographing NASCAR, Indy Car, and Sports Car races for a publication in Trenton, NJ – Area Auto Racing News. Since moving to Arizona in 1999, we still photograph motorsports for the same publication in NJ, but now we only photograph races at Phoenix International Raceway.
I began writing and self publishing in 2016, and in that year published 4 short stories, 1 compilation of short stories, and 1 novella. I write science fiction, horror, and supernatural thrillers. My main series, currently, is the “Father Gunter, Demon Hunter” supernatural thriller series. The first book of the series – “The Bucktown Babies” – was self published on February 1, 2017.
In September of 2017, I signed with Creativia Publishing. They re-released “The Bucktown Babies”, and my science fiction novella “The Mons Connection” – which, actually, was the first story I had written, back in early 2016. The 2nd book in the “Father Gunter, Demon Hunter” series – “The Raven Flies at Night” was published on January 7, 2018 In February 2018, I terminated my contract with Creativia, and am self published again.
When I write one of my Father Gunter novels. I research the demons. The demons I use are the actual demons (according to demonology) that are responsible for whatever that book’s horror is. As an example, I am currently working on the third book in the series – “Night Mare.” In the book, a town is plagued by people having terrible nightmares, and doing horrible things. The title comes from a demon called a Night Mare – which, according to demonology, is the demon responsible for bad dreams, or “nightmares.”
My plans for 2018 include at least 3 new novels, including at least one more in the “Father Gunter, Demon Hunter” series. My books are available in e-book, paperback, and audio book.
