He’s Stan: a photographer who hunts celebrities for money. She’s Dalla: a vampire who hunts people for food. And she’s got a celebrity crush.
When Stan meets Dalla, his sketchy job comes back to bite him. If he doesn’t deliver the vampire’s obsession on a non-silver platter, he’ll find himself on the menu instead. Now, stuck on a road trip with a monster, Stan knows his days are numbered.
He’ll have to buy time. Sure, she’s a monster, but if she only got to know him, maybe she’d find him charming enough to let him live. Maybe? Unfortunately, when going up against a star who doesn’t want to be found, in a world where being rich is more powerful than being undead, there won’t be time for chit-chat.
With a quirky chance meeting, opposites forced together, and otherworldly obstacles on the road to love, this could be a romantic comedy.
This is not a romantic comedy. This is going to hurt, and it’s going to get bloody. Better buckle in.
P.T. Phronk writes about things that don’t exist, things that might exist, and things that shouldn’t exist. That’s a clever way of saying he writes fantasy, science fiction, and horror.
He received a PhD in psychology after writing a dissertation about what makes horror films frightening. So he literally wrote the book on horror, and continues to tinker with dark creations by cover of night, while by day, he writes about the mysteries of the human mind as a brain scientist.
