Welcome to Jennifer’s world of poetry, where poems are inspired by observations about life and the world we live in. Like her first anthology “Poems from the Bottom of the Well”, Jennifer invites you to embark on a journey to explore topics that we can all relate to: love, death, joy, pain, ageing, the impact of technology, and international crises. Not only does she pose the question of “what if”, but she also shows you a side of well-known characters you never knew existed. Welcome to her world, where imagination knows no bounds.

Jennifer has always loved words. As a child, she read Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein, reciting their humorous rhymes to amuse herself, indulging in the sound of their words and the rhythm of their verses. She continued reading poetry, exploring the works of classic poets, but often felt herself more drawn to the poems she had read in her childhood. She realised that the simplicity of the language was the reason why she was enamoured of these children’s rhymes.
Now she writes poetry, experimenting with words as a way of making sense of the world. She believes in the beauty of simplicity, and hence she tries to convey her ideas (even the “grown-up” ones) using simple, uncomplicated language. She wants to make poetry accessible to the masses in the hope that one day, everyone can enjoy poems the way she does.
