“Tactile, thoughtful quatrains celebrating individual identity and experience, translated from Persian”
“Graceful poems juxtapose the mystical with the practical”
– MARGARET FEDDER, FORWORD CLARION REVIEW
Davoud Safdarian is a Persian poet born in 1974, graduated from Shahid Beheshti (Ex. Melli) University – Tehran and published two poem books: first book “Donbaal e Khorshid” in 2011 consisting couplets (do-bayti) and sonnets (ghazal).
The second book “Me, Rain and a Hired Taxi” including just couplets (do-bayti) published by Authorhouse – UK in 2014.
Believing in brevity in his poetry leaded him to walk the line only thru the do-bayties.
