Extracting good emotions, something that brings them to surface, is the intent of this collection of poems. A spiritual awakening, spiritual affirmations, words of empowerment or whatever one may perceive it to be; its purpose is to uplift the spirit. Concurrently, remind people that even in desperate circumstances even when we can’t see the blue sky, behind the gray, success or happiness is always there. In other words, it was written in the sky although the vision of accomplishment or joy is faint or completely undetectable.

April Robinson is an author, who holds a BS in Psychology. She mainly writes poetry and short stories. As a person who knows what it feels like to suffer from anxiety and depression she set out to develop knowledge of human behavior to not only gain a better understanding of herself but also others as well. Through her firsthand experience, she aims to provide the public with short stories that emphasize on the difficulties of mental illness. Despite her main focus, she refuses to limit her writing to one category because her thinking is of higher magnitude. Thus, she is inspired to write about anything, pertaining to life experiences. Her goal is to continue to grow as a writer by working harder on lengthening her storylines in hopes of exceeding short stories.
April Robinson resides in New York City with her Husband, son, and daughter. Along with her love for writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, some outdoor fun, fitness, and absorbing information through her observations.
